Wow. That’s all I can say. Just wow. The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. I ordered the crab bisque with a side Caesar salad and I also kind of custom created my pasta (I was in the mood for Alfredo). The bisque was delicious! So much crab in each scoop and it was super creamy and fresh. Went great with the bread for the table. I ordered a chicken alfredo pasta and added spinach, mushroom, Parmesan cheese and peas. CRAZY GOOD! My waitress was super nice and accommodating. I’ll be back!

Went here for my wife’s birthday. Food was great! Very tasty Italian dishes. We ate every last bite. ;) TY the server was very good at making us very comfortable and happy with our selections. He surprised my wife with a freshly made tiramisu for her birthday. Highly recommended. Wife’s happy!

Had a really great experience at Osteria Ama! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a night out. Our waitress, Morgan, was awesome — super friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations. I ordered the chicken parm, and it was absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. Definitely planning to come back soon!

If you want AMAZING Italian food in a quaint little restaurant with incredible hospitality service while in Philly, THIS is the place you want to be! And if Adill is your server, then your experience is going to make anything platinum look gold plated. He will definitely make you feel like you’re home! Definitely a 10 out of 10.

We came here as a big party, and the waiter was very accommodating make sure we all found seats but the restaurant space is not large. Food was excellent, and the selection was great. We all enjoyed the food specially the Mediterranean options are done very well. Complements to the chef.

Wonderful food, incredible service. Ty was wonderful and highly attentive. We eat here whenever my family is in town. I have tried a different entree every time I've gone and it's always been delicious. Highly recommend.

Popped in here tonight, just a block from my hotel, as I wandered the neighborhood looking for a nice eatery. I hadn’t ready heard anything about Osteria Ama on Chesnut St., and I was blown away. I had the grilled calamari and grilled artichoke appetizers as well as the Chicken Picatta. There was nothing ordinary about these dishes. You’ve NEVER had these dishes! Even the capers were made in-house and were large, definitely not the tiny ones in a jar you get at the grocery store. Wow. Wow. Wow. Nice to know there is a truly artisanal Italian restaurant here in Philly. Service was terrific and prompt, even with a full house.

My 10 year old wanted to give this place 5 stars based on the steamy, fresh bread alone but we told her to wait for the food. She had a prosciutto pizza- excellent. The Chicken Parmesan Rosa was yummy. Do not remember the name, but the chicken mushroom, spiral pasta with a big mozzarella ball n the middle was pretty and delicious. The tiramisu and chocolate mouse were heavenly. Excellent service.
